Making farming more sustainable with computer vision

Soil is in a poor condition across Globe and Europe. According to UN over 33% of the Earth’s soils are already degraded and 90% could become degraded by 2050! One of the reasons is extensive usage of chemical products like, herbicides or pesticides. We need to act now to prevent or at least minimize the negative effects of industrial, chemical-based farming. On the other hand, we need to produce more food for the growing demand. 

At Harventi Vision we want to make farming smarter and more sustainable with computer vision, Artificial Intelligence and hi-tech. A concrete implementation of the above mission is Camvio H100 – automatic steering system for interrow cultivators and mechanical weeders, which is a comprehensive alternative to herbicides.
